I collected the toys from various charity shops I have visited over the weeks. It’s a very hit or miss task as some circuits are too modern for me to be able to circuit bend at this stage. Older toys are easier as they have non-surface mount resistors and their circuits being older and more susceptible to being bent. My favourite toys that I have found and managed to circuit bend are my childhood Yamaha keyboard, the Hello Kitty Keyboard and the Teletubby Keyboard. I also bent another toy that somehow managed to unbend itself: I have not figured out how.

As well as the final product of the circuit bend toys, I am very interested in the process as that is the most exciting part: taking apart the toys, poking around the circuits. The method of finding the bends is very personal as you are right inside the circuit, pushing the buttons and hoping you find something new and interesting.
